About Mayu
I worked as a physical therapist in orthopedics in Japan. Afterwards, I moved to Sweden and, having always loved drawing since childhood, I decided to engage in more serious artistic activities.
​In 2023, I had the honor of participating in an anniversary exhibition celebrating 40 years of artistic innovation and education at a highly reputable art institute located in the Vasastan district of Stockholm. This special event provided a platform for contemporary artists to showcase their work. The institute buzzed with the vibrant energies of both veteran and emerging artists. My pieces were displayed alongside those of my peers in an inspiring and celebratory atmosphere, offering attendees a profound glimpse into the dynamic world of modern art.
